The Twin Cities Section of ISA-International Society of Automation is pleased to invite and feature Mr. Kirt Anderson who will be delivering a presentation and discussion about validation of the argument for ANSI/ISA-95 (Enterprise Control System Integration) as the Standard for MES through the use of a modern Manufacturing Data Hub.

It has recently achieved ISA-27001 certification. ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It defines requirements an ISMS must meet.

Kirt’s bio:

“Kirt Anderson is the CEO and Co-Founder of Spruik Technologies, a Minneapolis-based SI, and Libre Technologies, a globally distributed producer of software for implementing Manufacturing Data Hub.

He started as a controls engineer doing OEM motion control for narrow web converting, but quickly moved into Systems Integration and has been in that world for nearly two decades, occupying positions ranging from Controls Engineer to Software Engineer to Consulting Engineer.

Kirt has an AAS in Robotics/Flexible Automation from Minnesota West CTC (Granite Falls), a BS in Computer Science for SW MN State University and has taken many Masters-level classes from The Opus school (St Thomas) and the Sloan School at MIT.”

This is intended to be a hybrid presentation – in-person and online via MS-Teams.  It will be held at Dunwoody College of Technology in room Blue 40.
